About us

We are the Youth of Yerevan.

Like the city itself, we are always in motion.

Different voices, one breath.

Not just musicians, but a generation shaping the future of art, of performance, of culture.

We inherit a city, and we give it a voice.

Through discipline, through learning, through unity — we turn knowledge into expression. Because music is never just sound. It is belonging. It is becoming.

And together, we are not separate lines — we are one continuous movement.

Wherever we play, Yerevan is heard!

Yerevan Youth Orchestra.
We carry our city to the world.

Auditions

If you are young and you love classical music as much as we do — join us!

We are launching a transparent and merit-based audition platform to select the musicians of the orchestra.
A system designed to ensure that every place is earned through excellence — nothing else.

All performances are evaluated anonymously, based on the highest professional standards, by leading specialists from Armenia and abroad.

No names. No bias. Just music.

This approach allows us to build an orchestra defined by quality — bringing together musicians whose artistry speaks for itself.

If you are ready to be heard for what you truly are, this is your place.

YYO to Perform at Al Bustan Festival

YYO to Perform at Al Bustan Festival

The Yerevan Youth Orchestra will travel to Lebanon to participate in the Al Bustan International Festival of Music and the Performing Arts 2026, one of the country’s most important cultural events.

Initiated by the Yerevan Municipality, through the initiative of the Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, the Yerevan Youth Orchestra reflects a clear commitment to investing in the city’s cultural future.

Recognizing the power of music as a force for education, growth, and identity, the Municipality envisioned a platform that opens new horizons for young musicians —supporting their development, expanding their opportunities, and elevating artistic standards.

It is a step toward shaping a generation that will not only perform, but carry forward and redefine Yerevan’s cultural voice.
